Magic in the world

It all just feels so fake, ya know? This idea that good things happen to good people. That there's magic in the world, and that the meek and the righteous will inherit it. Too many good people suffer for that to be true. Too many prayers go unanswered. And every day it just gets worse. Every day we ignore how truly broken this world is, and we tell ourselves it's all going to be okay. But it's not going to be okay. And once you know that, there's no going back. There's no magic in the world...at least today there isn't.

The first time i heard that i was trying to come to terms with my nans death even writing it today seems weird as if seeing it in black and white is some how going against my nan because it makes it real that day the 13th of December there was definitely no magic in the world. Last night being around people that mean so much to me good people who are struggling so hard to come to grips with a tragic act an untimely death. Sunday marks the 10 year anniversary of September 11th there was no magic in the world that day either. 


However gut wrenching the 13th of December and last night were for me and my loved ones. I'm guessing that somewhere in the world there was some magic ! well that is what i'd like to think because to believe that there is no magic in the world would mean a cold hard desolate existence and one i'm not willing to live. So as hard as it seems as as much it hurts my new motto is to always try and see the magic in the world weather its the sun rising on a brand new day , stars sparkling in the nights sky. Happiness in the family home , a laugh instead of a groan. We must all try to find the magic in the world even when like Haley it seems oh so impossible

Nothing to wear !!

So ...  Im going to kanaloa on saturday night for a well needed girly night out :) - allthough i know i have one every weekend this is a special occasion its a send off for my friend. We are all super excited !
However i have one very big problem - nothing to wear :( and there is not anything in the shops either gahhhhhhhhhhhh panic stations this awful weather is making me dread trawling the west end so may pop into lakeside instead and see what they have to offer.
There are a few possibilities i have seen on the internet and i wish that i had a movie stars buget not sure what all my friends are wearing either. Herve aqua and Allsaints are being muttered however in true Essex Fur coat no knickers style im sure all my girls will look just like movie stars .... x

Bedroom Buys :

So , Last year at university  i stayed in Halls which means a teeny tiny room with about as much individuality as an Essex Girl in a Aqua Dress ( not a lot). However this year i'm moving into a 17 bedroom house without sounding pretentious i think that makes it a mansion :). I also managed to bag the biggest room in the whole place so i am one happy girly. 
A new house , massive bedroom = A big excuse to go Shopping. 
Shopping for a uni bedroom is a completely diffrent ordeal to a normal room , the duvet's have to be easy to iron you have to work with funny color carpets and it has to be easy to put up with day in day out as a lot of time is spent in your room.
